Technology
has indeed conquered the human world. Wherever we go, technology seems to be
the application of the majority of the things we see or use every day. People
using cellphones, laptops, high-technology vehicles, different kind of gadgets
and many more. Through the years, technology has gone through massive
improvement and has been changing from time to time.
Never
was it that technology became useless to human beings. It enables us to do
things easily especially when it comes to communication. Before, we use letters
to communicate with other people but now we can simply send e-mails and text
messages. We even have the what we call "social networking sites".
And these would not be possible with the most important product of technology
--- COMPUTERS. Admit it, computers are the most amazing and impressive
inventions of all. We can not only communicate but can be entertained as well.
We can listen to music, play games which are very different from how people
spend their leisure time before. But what made me appreciate computers is that
it helps me a lot with my studies and make studying more convenient. Nowadays,
a student like me can do simple tasks like homeworks, reports and even research
with ease unlike before when people had to patiently seek answers from a book.
However, too much of these isn't good at all.
Yes, we can benefit from it but then everything has its limitation just like
for me. Now we are talking about disadvantages. Computers are helpful but then
here comes different sites from the webpage. We can definitely get information and
be aware of what is happening around us. Influence is what I want to point out.
People use Facebook everyday and we can't avoid seeing different things. Some
are informative, while some are not. INFLUENCE, it is. Sometimes these bad
influences are what push us to do something that isn't right and that can't do
anything good for us. It's just simple. Bad influence means bad gestures.
That's all!
And for now, nothing can seem to stop technology from
improving. People will always seek convenience and something BETTER. But how we
benefit from it depends on us. YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS AT A TIME. We
should keep things in balance because as I have said before, too much of
everything is bad. I honestly fear that one day, people will become dependent
to technology that we might forget our natural environment and who knows, even
ourselves.
