Although taking several subjects is exhausting,

When it comes to English, you'll never see me yawning

It's my all time favorite subject even before

And I'm pretty sure there is so much to explore

VERBALS is the topic we tackled first

Yet the whole class somewhat started headfirst

GERUNDS, PARTICIPLES, INFINITIVES

Confusing but still, I'm inquisitive

Then IDIOMATIC EXPRESSIONS arrived next

Their meanings are not what it say in the text

Most of the phrases you read may seem obscure

So most of the time all I feel is pressure!

ROMEO AND JULIET's indeed the most exciting part of all

A masterpiece that's stuck in my heart like a cholesterol

This Shakesperean play is giving me so much to remember,

Characters, themes...how I wish we read more until December

TENSES? I thought I know this topic well already

But then here comes different types like BASIC and HAVE

We'll have exercises and seatworks to be answered,

So that the knowledge about it will all be gathered

Oh SPELLING words, when will you be familiar to me?

I'll be surely glad if I score once higher than three

We should seek Mr. Dictionary to know you more

And that'd be the secret in having a better score

In order to survive the class, DON'T BE SHY

You have to participate and always try

Because learning English was never boring
